Work Experience

Optimized the product development process for a patent pending robot capable of autonomously connecting air and electrical lines between a tractor and a trailer. The process utilized a more efficient approach to design, prototyping, and testing/validation, reducing development time from 7 months to 4 months.
Defined the scope of 3 engineering test fixtures to conduct in-house component level testing and engineering validation for the robot.
Developed the global supply chain and manufacturing strategy for the product by finding new suppliers and working closely with contract manufacturers. This resulted in a 60% increase in the number of suppliers, creating a more sustainable supply chain and reducing long term production risks.
Designed and managed several Jira projects to capture customer requirements, create product roadmaps, track field testing failures, and assign development tasks.
Drove the engineering development of the product by acting as the main liaison between mechanical, electrical and software sub-teams, generating Gantt charts, contingency plans, risk mitigations plans and cash flow reports to present at weekly executive reviews to the company management.
